Author's Note

I'm not one to write notes; I like the let the story speak for itself. But I just wanted to thank everyone, my followers and commenters, for the support. Especially you, Kristina, since you've stuck with me practically from the beginning. If not for you, I'd probably have given up on this by the first week.

I like knowing that you all enjoy the story, especially the little things that resonate with you. (And seriously, try the fries in the shake if you haven't already, trust me on this.) I don't mind constructive criticism, either. A lot of the story is already planned out in my head, but I'll entertain suggestions as well.

That being said, I'm working ahead by about five days' worth of updates. While it may seem cruel to have so much written and not share it yet, the updates are all scheduled to publish each evening. I figure this way, if I get hit with writer's block or get slammed and don't have time to write, you'll still have something to tide you over until I can get back in the swing of things.

Your regularly scheduled updates will commence again tonight, with what I *hope* is going to live up to your high expectations.

  2. I always think it's awesome when an author lets his/her readers know that they appreciate said readers*
And I know that on occasions I make comments about "hurry up and post" but I don't mean them to any of the authors in an angry way.

I really have enjoyed your story though!

  3. @Pens_Addict: Nothing in my note was directed toward anyone in a negative manner. I've never received a comment that I deemed angry. It's kind of nice, actually, when the readers let me know that they're *so* into the story that they want more right away!

I truly do appreciate how awesome and supportive everyone is. I picked up 5 followers yesterday, and I literally did a happy dance around my room. While I'm not writing to gain readers, knowing they're out there serves as great motivation to keep the story going.

    Thanks again!

  4. Writing ahead of time is always the best thing to do. I did that with my blog story, then I ran out and now I'm in major writers block and feel terrible cause it's been FOREVER since I updated!! But I love your story oh so much, it might be my fave overall!

Now i'm off to read your newest chapter!
